Class 2/19

Students,

I hope you all have had a good two weeks. I look forward to class tomorrow, and want to remind you that your poetry assignment will be due at the beginning of class. You will also be expected to know the key terms we discussed on the 5th (last class), as you will be quizzed on them.

You may have noticed that this blog has not been updated over the last two weeks, and that I have not been commenting on your blogs. This is, unfortunately, because my computer crashed. I will be spending the next couple of days catching up, and please know you will absolutely get credit for blogging in the appropriate time (twice weekly). I sincerely apologize for the lack of communication over the last two weeks.

Lastly, I want to thank each of you for your hard work. I know that writing is not easy, and may not come naturally to all of you, but I have been pleased with your work—particularly your blogs. Know that success in this class depends largely on time management. If you feel like you are struggling, please contact me and we can set up a plan to help you succeed. I want each of you to feel encouraged by this class, and not defeated.
