Hey everyone, please don't forget to send me the address of your blog. I want to give you credit for the next two weeks, but must be able to get to your blog to do so! You can either e-mail me privately or post your blog URL here, so everyone can check it. Happy blogging!

Welcome
Welcome to a new semester of exciting stories, thought provoking class discussion and challenging assignments. This class will be unlike any writing class you have had before. Whether you have been journaling for years, have a fabulous vocabulary, have written countless essays, or have never read a book in your life—you will be challenged by this course and yet find that it is entirely possible to be successful. The goal is not to learn facts, but to discover practical principles that will make you a better writer—principles that will help you for years to come.
This course will require you to use your creative side as you author your own blog, story, poetry and essay.
I am very excited for the days ahead, and hope you are as well. You can check back here for assignments and I welcome any questions you might have; simply check your syllabus for my contact information.
